I’m Vanessa, a design leader and manager with over 15 years of experience in creative problem solving using human-centered design principles. I've evolved from a UX designer to a strategic design leader, known for transforming industries through user-centric solutions. My journey began in healthcare and the military, where I honed my leadership and problem-solving skills. When I discovered UX design, I found it to be the perfect blend of my skills and passion for creative problem-solving.
My career has been marked by advancing digital transformation in the public sector through government consulting, leading UX strategy at startups, and managing the design and development of public-facing websites. I also excel in the Zero to One product development space, thriving on making sense of ambiguity and leading transformative projects.
One of my key strengths is leveraging the design thinking process to create compelling design solutions. I have a talent for blending my past experiences to create digital solutions that not only solve user problems but also exceed expectations in terms of usability and aesthetics.
In my current role, I've led transformative projects, including the redesign of public-facing websites and the development of AI-driven products. I'm passionate about driving innovation through emerging technologies like digital twin technology and AI, focusing on creating user-friendly and visually appealing solutions.
